SMUS has a long tradition with basketball. Steve Nash, two-time NBA MVP and coach of the Brooklyn Nets, is a SMUS alum.

SMUS has excellent facilities and equipment, including three hardwood basketball courts and automatic shot return systems that let athletes refine their skills.

SMUS program includes:

• Coaching from former University of Victoria varsity players including Ian Hyde-Lay and Lindsay Brooke
• High coach-to-player ratio for player development and individual feedback
