Grade 12
Grade 12 is a climactic year that caps your JK-12 education while ensuring you have a memorable and academically rigorous experience that prepares you for life after SMUS.
Grade 12 is the end of your journey and it will be bittersweet. You’ll be excited for life after graduation but it’s also a year of reflection on how far you’ve come and the close friends you’ve made. That’s not to say that the preparation is over. You still have many opportunities to learn and grow.
Key to this year is stepping forward into leadership roles. All the students in younger grades look up to you as a role model and you will be given a chance to affect change at the school.
Academically, you, your teachers and your university counsellor will ensure you have everything you need to make a seamless transition to higher education. You’ll be applying to universities and making important decisions about your future. It all means that by the end of Grade 12, you’ll be ready for university and life beyond SMUS.
