Grade 7
Grade 7 is a year of marked academic growth, as students begin to explore more abstract ideas in class, and take on more ownership of their learning and development as young people.
In Grade 7, learning starts to move away from the concrete, and students learn to think deeply and about the interconnectedness of class lessons to the real world.
The Grade 7 experience is designed for students to sharpen their tools as adolescents. They become school leaders as they take on new challenges in academic, arts, athletic and service pursuits.
By the end of Grade 7, students will have taken more ownership over their learning and how to be abstract thinkers. They will be able to identify new passions and interests. Students will have taken advantage of opportunities that prepare them to be role models in Grade 8.
