Take a trip through 100 years of Broadway by checking out this year's Senior School musical, SMUS Revue '22!
The show, on now at the McPherson Playhouse, features more than 40 great songs from 29 different musicals. From classic shows, such as A Chorus Line and South Pacific, to more recent hits, including Hamilton and Mamma Mia!, you're guaranteed to enjoy the well-known and recognizable music that highlights the history of musical theatre.
As we celebrate our 50th Jubilee year, our director and musical director saw this as a perfect opportunity to pay tribute to our school's own history of musical theatre. Students are honouring that history by performing a number of songs that SMUS alumni, who were once in their shoes, performed during their musicals.
The show is fast-paced, amazingly choreographed and impeccably performed by students on stage and in our pit orchestra, and supported by a talented backstage crew.
Check out a number of photos from different moments in SMUS Revue '22. And be sure to go see the show, running tonight (March 4) and tomorrow (Saturday, March 5) at the McPherson Playhouse. Tickets are available online.
