Last Friday afternoon, our Junior School community kept school spirit high as we hosted our first Spirit Parade.
Teachers, staff and some students decorated their bikes and cars, and travelled through Oak Bay waving to Junior School students and families who had set up along the route for a socially distant hello.
The Spirit Parade was a great event that helped our community stay connected. The event was held the day after we marked one month of remote learning, and the energy from seeing one another helped reinvigorate all in attendance to help ensure spirits remain high through to the end of the school year.
Thank you to everyone who joined us!
Students and parents can check out more photos of the Spirit Parade on the SMUS Photo Gallery.
