We are delighted to introduce Floreat, St. Michaels University School's 2020-2030 strategic plan. Officially launched Thursday, January 16, this 10-year plan will guide our efforts as we look toward our Jubilee Year in 2021 and beyond to the end of the decade.
Floreat means "let flourish" and it is an apt phrase for a school that, through the entwining of our two key roots of St. Michael's School and University School, is in a position of great strength and which is ready now to begin a fresh period of growth.
Over the coming months, we will continue to share updates on the steps we are taking as a community to enact the Floreat plan. Current parents will receive a copy of the Floreat strategic plan in the mail shortly, and all parents are invited to attend one of two information sessions on Tuesday, January 21 and Tuesday, January 28. There will be refreshments at 6 pm, with a short presentation at 6:30 pm, followed by the opportunity to ask questions.
