David Longridge has worked in aviation since 1993, most of that time with Boeing. During his near-thirty year tenure at Boeing, David worked in Flight Test Engineering on the original 777, and moved to Amsterdam for his first sales job in 1999. A variety of sales and marketing assignments followed in North America and Europe and he finished his career with stints as the President of Boeing Business Jets, and Vice President for Global Sales of Services, as well as Customer Support. He has served on the SMUS Board since 2016, and before that on the Alumni Association Board. He is a private pilot and enjoys classic cars.
David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from UBC in 1993. David is an alumnus of SMUS from 1988, is married to Gretchen, and has one son attending SMUS, Declan ’26. He is hopeful that his daughter Evie, ’29, will attend SMUS as well.
