Ali joined the St. Michaels University School community in April 2024 after 13 years working at the University of Victoria. Ali spent seven years overseeing the fast-paced communications department in the UVic Athletics and Recreation department before moving over to head up the digital media and marketing portfolio within the central University Communications and Marketing department.
Ali specializes is in organic digital media content and campaigns but is no stranger to the wide breadth of the communications and marketing portfolio including photography, videography, writing, public relations, crisis communications, internal communications, traditional and digital marketing, analytics and strategic communications.
